Andrew has been my property manager since 2018, overseeing all aspects of our ski condo at the base of Bald MTN. for long and short term rentals each year.
Andrew possesses all of the skills a highly talented property manager should have.
On the client side, he manages and vets all inquiries before he brings them to my attention. He primarily works through online rental sites such as Airbnb and VRBO. Once the inquiry is vetted, Andrew manages the entire visit top to bottom. I am not involved until the post-stay. Andrew will share reviews and keep me informed of any condo issues that need attention.
Our guests have raved about how communicative Andrew is. They comment on his prompt response time and professional manner. He makes their stay very easy.
He is also very helpful to me as the owner. We have had very good luck with our guests. Only once did a relatively small issue come up. Andrew acted as the liaison between myself and the renter. It was clear he had a process. This particular renter had re-booked a return in a matter of weeks. Andrew handled all the communication, per VRBO guidelines. Fortunately the renter was receptive to the extra costs (a portion of extra cleaning fees and linen replacement) and after her 2nd stay she followed all guidelines and left the condo in good shape.
Andrew also keeps an eye on the running of things. He informs us of WIFI issues, he recently handled a new dishwasher install, his handyman has helped us hang art, his cleaning staff is tops and he is quick to do “extras” such as make sure the condo is stocked for guests with a welcome bottle of wine + note. He has also helped us with unpacking and placing new furniture or furnishings in the condo in addition to doing some custom work (building a small mud room area).
On the administrative side he is totally all over it. We receive clear and concise P&Ls each month that reflect all the recorded tax and non-tax related expenses. Annually we receive the correct paperwork well in time for tax filings.
Finally, he seems to know everyone in town. I think it is important that he has such terrific experience behind him and that he and his wife have chosen to raise their family there in the Valley.
I hope they stay forever because we certainly need his help as long as he is in this business. He is worth every penny as we have zero headaches and a very communicative relationship with him. I recommend him wholeheartedly!
